2025 དབྱར་གནས 結夏安居
Today 2025-5-19, Serzhong Dongak Kunzang Choeling Monastery moved to its summer residence in Paro from Gelephu led by Trulku Ugyen Sherab Yoezer, accompanied by the Khenpos, Lopens, and the monastic community.
Upon arrival at the monastery in Paro, the monks were welcomed by a gentle drizzle—an auspicious sign in the Buddhist tradition, symbolizing the celestial offering of flowers from the heavens. This sacred moment was further graced by the appearance of a rainbow over the monastery, signifying a propitious beginning and a warm spiritual welcome.
We extend our deepest appreciation to all the devoted followers who offered meals, tea, snacks, and refreshments at various points along the journey from Gelephu to Paro. We are grateful to the Tshokpa and Mangi of Ngoba, Paro, for traveling to Gelephu to accompany the monastic entourage. We also thank the people of Serzhong for their heartfelt farewell and for accompanying the monks all the way to Paro.
