2024 ཆོ་འཕྲུལ་དུས་ཆེན་ Chotrul Düchen

Chothrul Duechen holds significant spiritual importance in Buddhism, commemorating significant events in the life of the Buddha. It closely follows Losar, the Tibetan New Year. The first fifteen days of the year honor the period when the Buddha displayed miracles for his disciples to deepen their devotion, marking the culmination of the fifteen days of merit-making. It’s a time for reflection, deepening one’s spiritual practice, and engaging in acts of kindness and generosity. Encouraging everyone to perform virtuous deeds during this auspicious time aligns with the essence of the festival’s teachings✨🙏🏻✨🌟🙏🏻
