10 years ago on this day His Eminence Khentrul Thokmeth Rinpoche received a “Certificate of Commendation” and “Medal of Honor” from the Government of Austria and Japan held in Tokyo, Japan. Certificate and Medal was awarded as a recognition for providing free education and supporting monks, nun and elderly people.

There were five recipients of this medal including one from Korea, three from Japan and His Eminence.
